On April 30th 2012, Tim Snowdon, the Coordinator of the Avon Network since its inception, retired from the role and moved on to other roles within athletics. Everyone within the athletics community will appreciate the vast amount of work which Tim has put into the sport in the Avon area, and wishes him well for the future.

Up to March 2014: Funds were made available for various projects concerned with Coach Development and Club Development.

April 2014 to March 2015: There were workshops planned, but these were mostly cancelled through lack of demand. Consequently there were some unspent Network funds: these were allocated to some of the projects put forward by individual Avon AA clubs: the successful projects must use the allocated funds by March 2016.

January / February 2015: EA Chief Executive Officer Chris Jones has notified all Networks that they will receive no further funding from April 2015 onwards.

November 2016: All work on this website has ceased.
