September 2019: South-West Volunteer / Athlete Awards

September 2019: At the EA South-West Conference Presentations event, the following Volunteer awards were made:

  • SW Athletic or Running Club of the Year: Almost Athletes
  • SW Coach of the Year: Dave Turner
  • SW Official of the Year: Martin Fisher
  • SW Inclusion Award: Judy Cuckston
    ----- (also EA National Inclusion Award winner) -----
  • Run Together Group of the Year: Highbridge Ladies Running Club
  • Run Together Leader of the Year: Hannah Lewis
  • Services to Athletics and Running: Peter Clarke
  • Volunteer of the Year: Jeremy Dale
  • Young Volunteer of the Year: Sophie Millard

Also, the SW Council made a series of "South-West Athlete of the Year" awards:

  • Track Junior Male: Jami Schlueter (Millfield School)
  • Track Senior Male: Phil Norman (WGEL / North Devon AC)
  • Track Junior Female: Lydia Smith (Taunton AC)
  • Track Senior Female: Emily Diamond (Bristol & West AC)
  • Field Junior Male (two awards): Sam Brereton (Newquay & Par AC) and Luke Ball (Yate & District AC)
  • Field Senior Male: Tom Gale (Team Bath AC)
  • Field Junior Female: Seren Rodgers (Taunton AC)
  • Field Senior Female: Molly Caudery (Cornwall AC)
  • Endurance Junior Male: William Rabjohns (Poole AC)
  • Endurance Senior Male: Oliver Fox (Wells City H. / Cambridge University)
