South-West Championships

South-West Indoor T&F Championships

The South-West has many great features: historic buildings, glorious scenery, impressive beaches, etc. --- but no 200m Indoor Track. So the 2018-9 South-West Indoor Championships will be held in Cardiff. The dates are:

A reminder: even the December meeting will be held under the 2019 age group rules. The on-line entry system is available, so far only for the first match. The events to be held on each day (and a warning about the possible limitation of numbers of Field-Event Championships competitors) can be found in This Document.

Note: The document on the Welsh Athletics website about eligibility for the South-West Championships is WRONG! Avon athletes are SW-qualified; an athlete's club does not need to be registered with EA for Cross-Country, just for Track and Field.

Details of more Indoor events in Wales (not all open to South-West athletes) can be found at This Location.

South-West Cross-Country Championships

The 2018-9 South-West Individual, Inter-Club and Inter-County Cross-Country Championships will be held on Sunday 6th January 2019.

UPDATE 13/10/18: We are happy to announce that we can after all use the course at Aldon Hill (Yeovil), last year's venue. Entries can be made Here.
