Athletics In the South-West of England
This is the area
considered by England Athletics to make up the South-West of England. Although there
is no longer an Avon County Council, Avon still exists in athletics terms, covering the
local authority areas of Bristol, Bath and North-East Somerset, South Gloucestershire
and North Somerset.
2021 SW Cross-Country Championships (CANCELLED) |
January 13th 2021: The 2020-21 season South-West Cross-Country Championships were first scheduled for Sunday 3rd January. In late December the EA South-West Council decided to postpone the event until Sunday February 21st 2021: however even this new date fell within the National Lockdown period announced on December 30th. With no guarantee that restrictions would be lifted in time to guarantee a satsfactory event this season, the Council agreed on cancellation. |
