 When?
The 2023-24 season event will be held on Saturday 9th March,
at Wollaton Park, Nottingham (i.e. not at last year's venue).

- Information (provisional) about 2024 meeting

- Who Competes? U13/U15/U17/U20/Senior athletes for each gender
- "Under-20's" for the 2024 competition will be those athletes who have their 18th or 19th
birthday during the year of the competition. So some athletes
who may compete as Under-20's at County, South-West, Midlands or National level, cannot compete as Under-20s
in this event in 2024 but can be considered for selection for the Senior team.

- NOTE: For 2023, the Senior Men raced over 10km. and the Senior Women over 8km.

- Avon & Somerset Team Vests: Black, red trim, 'Avon and Somerset' lettering in gold. These will be available for
purchase on the day.

- Selection: The combined County may nominate 12 athletes for each race, with 8 allowed to run on the day and 4 to score
(Senior Men / Women: 15 nominations, 9 to run, 6 to score). The selection process for the event is normally by e-mail
dialogue between representatives of the most active XC clubs from the two Counties.

- The UK CAU event is normally incorporated in the British Athletics Cross Challenge final. Potential Cross Challenge finalists
may also be selected for their County teams.
