Who Should Take This Course?

The Assistant Coach is the basic entry level qualification that introduces you to supporting the coaching of athletics sessions across a range of events. You’ll be able to support a qualified coach to deliver the basic and underpinning principles of athleticism, and develop skills across running, jumping and throwing.

  • You are new to coaching
  • You want to support qualified coaches delivering training activities in your club or community
  • You enjoy working with developing athletes across different events and ages.
 
Online Learning
The estimated time for the online modules is 7 hours. Candidates can access modules at any time convenient to them.
